Since our original weekend plans (to go to Cook) went haywire due to Kaitlyn's fever (which it seems, has turned out to be a precursor to a minor cold - she's never had a cold start out with a 104 degree fever but whatever), we decided to check out the Park Point rummage sales. We didn't go to a whole lot of them, and didn't find too much. I did grab a few new stuffed friends for Kaitlyn - a frog, a Ty beanie baby bird, and a care bear. Oh and a couple of books. I spent, like, $2 total I think. lol There are always a ton of stuffed animals but it is hard to find ones that are nice. (ie - not icky/old/dirty). We also stopped and got ice cream at one of the many food stands set up all over. Yum, this pregnant girl enjoyed that! Now I am dreaming about the mozzerella sticks and mini donuts I also saw advertised. I definitely have my appetite back since those several months of feeling sick and totally un-hungry! Kaitlyn rode along in her umbrella stroller and waved at people. Who of course would smile and wave back, especially women. Some of them would go "awww what a sweetheart" or something similar. The Park Point rummage sales are a good place to do some walking and people watching, even if you don't find much to buy. Which I am sure happens a lot, especially on Saturday since it runs Fri-Sat...so the good stuff likely gets picked over on Friday.
So yeah, that was our Saturday adventure. Other than that we have just been hanging out. Kaitlyn has been pretty cranky off and on all day. I took a nap, now Andy is taking a nap. We are totally crazy party animals I tell you!
Tomorrow if the weather is decent and Kaitlyn's mood/health are decent, we are maybe going to head up to Gooseberry Falls. I will post on that too and hopefully put up some pics as well if it happens. It is the 2nd highest it has been in over 25 years so I am sure the pics would be beautiful. We are kind of missing going up to Cook to spend time with my parents and check out the Timber Days parade with friends. My parents are always excited to see Kaitlyn too, so they were bummed...but they don't want to get sick. Sometimes the children just have their own plans in mind I guess.
Everyone enjoy your weekend!!
