South St. Louis County Fair

So we did end up taking Kaitlyn to the fair. It was okay - not that big (though in a way, that was good because I had less distance to waddle around). By far the best part for us was taking Kaitlyn to the Petting Zoo area. There were all sorts of creatures - goats (including baby goats wandering freely...they liked to get under our stroller for some reason), deer (one of whom tried to eat my shirt and left me with a big wet spot from it's saliva), donkeys, a camel, llama, calves, zebra... I can't even remember them all.

We also took her to watch the horses at the horse show.

And offered a pony ride - but she cried when Andy tried putting her on. (Below is, I believe, the offending pony).

Even mommy had fun despite being HUGE and having worked the night before!

Daddy tried to win Kaitlyn a huge stuffed bear at the "shoot the star" game, but was not successful. We then contributed a little more money to the fair by Andy having a gyro and a sno-cone, and Kandi having some cotton candy (which was SO good by the way - haven't had cotton candy in years!) By this time, Kaitlyn was ready for a nap and starting to get cranky, and so our time at the fair ended.
