Kaitlyn is having a tooth explosion - in the last week, numbers 9 and 10 have come up...and 11 is close. She hates tooth brushing time, and I don't blame her. It can't feel good to have all those teeth coming up at once, especially given her history of being a rough teether.
She has become the sweetest little girl before bedtime. At 7:30, we tell her it's time for her bath. She runs to the door (to our living room) and when we open it she goes right upstairs. After her bath, she has a sippy cup. When she is done with that, we let her run around a few minutes and she usually gives goodnight kisses. Lots of them. I think she has come to love good night kiss time. Finally, Andy puts her down in her crib (my belly won't allow me to comfortably right now) and she cuddles up to her blanket and goes right to sleep - no problems, no fits, nothing. She has always (except the first 3 months) mostly been wonderful when it comes to sleeping, but now she is an absolute dream child. Let's hope it lasts throughout her childhood years...lol
And of course, as always, we are amazed at all the new words/skills she shows off every single day. My personal favorite is strawberry ("sta-bear"). She has pajamas with a strawberry on the shirt and on the pants, and she will even point it out for you if you ask her about her strawberry.
She only has 1 day left as an only child...I hope she adjusts with minimal problems. Baby G has a present for Kaitlyn when she comes home, so hopefully Kaitlyn will associate Baby G with FUN.
