Why did the chicken cross the road?

Especially in Duluth, MN?!

I was driving to daycare this morning and saw up ahead three birds crossing the street. As I got closer, I realized that they were chickens. A dark colored one, a light brown colored one, and another darker colored one. I slowed down and watched as they waddled across the road. I was pretty surprised, as I have never seen chickens so randomly out and about in Duluth. I felt like I was in Key West again! There were chickens everywhere in Key West, so it really took me back to that fun vacation we had in 2005. Now if only Duluth had an ocean, some palm trees, and beautiful weather 12 months a year...
