So I was on my way upstairs to take a nap and thought I should check the mail first. The mail box is right below the bird nest, and so when I went out of course momma flew away (she always does when we go in and out). Well as I turned around to head back inside, I heard tiny little chirps. I looked up at the nest and saw baby birdie beaks bobbing up and down! I went back inside and shut the door so mama can come back. I kept watching through the window for a minute and could see a few wing flaps now and then too.
I am SO excited!!!
Update a few hours later: I just heard a bunch of loud chirping commotion so I peeked out the window saw mama bird feeding the babies! It was the coolest thing ever :-) Mama was sitting on the edge feeding each bird from her beak. The babies were poking their little heads and beaks way up to get the food. SO CUTE!
