Hello, blogspot!

Andy has been suggesting I move my blog to blogspot for quite awhile. He had the idea that we would start a Ganoe family blog. Well, we're finally doing it and this is my first official post at blogspot - though Andy did bring over several of my old myspace blog posts.

Yesterday I posted about our 4th of July and how I got sun burned. You know how sunburns just get worse over the following hours - this one is no exception. It is probably the most painful burn I can remember, but I would take it any day if it meant keeping Kaitlyn from being burned :-) Luckily sunscreen does that job. Now next time I just need to be smart and remember to use sunscreen on myself - especially while pregnant since that makes you more sensitive to the sun.

Here's a little teaser for a future post. I am working on getting video/picture of the mama bird feeding the babies. I did get a video today, although I was too late on the feeding part. I did manage to get a short time of mama sitting there with the birds still sticking their heads up, chirping and begging for more food. Soon I will try to post so you can see just how cute it is!
